Plot: A youth accused of the murder of his mother refuses to speak to the police. Is he really the killer?


Bolo Raam follows the story of Raam (Rishi Bhutani), an angry young man who is obsessed with his mother (Padmini Kohlapure). Raam is accused of the murder of his mother, leading to an investigation during which Raam chooses to remain silent. Through a series of flashbacks, the true murderer is revealed.

Khogiram (Atul Kulkarni), his wife (Rituparna Sengupta) and their kids Pinu (Darsheel) and Rimzim (Zia) belong to a terrorist dominated region. Khogiram and Ritu have a hand-to-mouth income working for a tea plantation and can barely manage things. The kids are affected by this as well. They go to a respectable school as it is Khogiram’s ambition to give them the educational opportunities he missed. But the financial crunch makes it difficult for kids to match the standards of the school. They don’t have enough money for uniform or shoes. Things become worse when Pinu misplaces Rimzim’s only pair of shoes in the vegetable shop. Pinu tells Rimzim about the shoes and begs her not to tell their mother; she agrees.

Acid Factory is about a group of characters whose sense of past has vanished in a haze of coma like sleep they have woken up from only to discover that reality could be a figment of their imagination.
Their sense of right or wrong is heightened by this state of complete distrust and self righteousness.
As the story reveals through the hazy mist of confusion confounded by loss off memory, the audience is just shown the tip of the iceberg. Five men wake up inside the stolid confines of a factory to find themselves locked in this claustrophobic nowhere land. As the plot unfolds we gradually learn that two of the people who are trapped have been kidnapped and held hostage by the rest of the three for a heist. But the irony is they themselves do not know who the hostages are and who the kidnappers are. The plot is like a Rubik cube that acquires the contours of solid colours on each side as the narrative unfolds. Their fears are heightened by a phone call from the leader of the gang of goons who informs them that he is on his way with the heist and plans to knock off the two hostages as soon as he arrives. Every one fears for their lives as they are unaware about the fact which two of them are the hostages. They plan escape, fail and end lunging at each other in despair as the clock ticks away. Individual foibles and shortcomings surface in this final hour of despair. Like caged animals they alternately bicker among themselves and then jointly plan means of escape but to no avail. The Big Boss eventually arrives.

Dinkar Waghmare (Shreyas Talpade) is a small town character, a 28 year old sub-inspector working for the Mumbai Police who spends his time dreaming of beautiful TV reporter Soniya Bhatt (Mahi Gill). He has never solved a case and has always stayed away from serious action. His late father was a successful police officer. He is constantly reminded of his failure by his nagging mother and feels pressure to live up to his father’s giant image. One day Dinkar Waghmare loses his Bajrangbali-stickered gun and is under extreme pressure to find it again.

Aarav “Sarkar” Malhotra (Akshay Kumar) runs a fishing company in the Bahamas, in which Sagar “Sethji” Singh (Sanjay Dutt) is a diver. While Aarav has done well for himself, Sagar is under a financial crisis. To help him, Aarav advises Sagar to retrieve the lost treasure of a sunken ship called Lady in Blue. However, Sagar refuses to go to the ship as he has a haunted past with the ship.

Rishi, the son of legendary Raj Kapoor, decides to try his hand at politics, and to garner support, re-locates to his birth village, Hadbahedi. The village is located in an isolated area where most trains do not stop, and electricity is only available for about 6 hours a day. He also decides to shoot a film ‘Khooni Khazana’ with Producer/Director, Malkani. Once there, he secretly makes a deal to lend his name to an alcoholic beverage, in exchange for a plot of land in nearby Triphala, and one Crore Rupees, while pledging to the naive villagers that he has no intention to re-locating anywhere. Misled villagers believe Hadbahedi will get popular and modernized, and decide to assist him with all their might. Things escalate into chaos, and anger, when they find out that their valuables are being stolen, and the women being molested, by the film crew, while the police accuse them of harboring a terrorist who was responsible for the December 13, 2001, attack on the Indian Parliament.

Based on the true story of Air Force personnel in Srinagar, Kashmir.

The film is based on Raj (Govinda) who has a girlfriend, supermodel Dolly (Lara Dutta), and a wife, Kiran (Sushmita Sen). Raj fires Mangu (Rajpal Yadav), a cook, because he does not like him. To take revenge, Mangu takes a picture of Raj with Dolly and gives it to Kiran. Kiran gets suspicious but then Raj says that Dolly is not his girlfriend. He says that there are three people in the picture, Raj, Dolly and Govardhan (Riteish Deshmukh). Raj tells Kiran that the guy, who came into the picture as he was walking by, is Dolly’s boyfriend and tells Govardhan to live with Dolly for a couple of days so Kiran’s suspicions will go away.
Govardhan gets really troubled when Dolly’s ex-boyfriend Diesel (Sohail Khan) shows up and threatens Govardhan that, when he finds out who Dolly’s boyfriend is, Diesel will beat him up. Meanwhile, Kiran has a detective follow Dolly and Govardhan. The twist in the story comes when Kiran tells Raj that she is going to Puna to meet her mom, when she’s actually making a plan with the detective to catch Dolly and Raj red-handed. As soon as Kiran leaves, Raj calls and books the presidential suite at a hotel for Dolly and him, just like Kiran expected. While Dolly and Raj are enjoying themselves, Kiran’s detective starts his job. But he gets crushed by the window as he is trying to climb into Raj and Dolly’s room. When Raj and Dolly notice, they call Govardhan to help get rid of the body because they think he is dead. Just as Govardhan shows up, so does Dolly’s ex, Diesel. While trying to get rid of the body, Raj’s ex-cook, Mangu, shows up (he is now working at the hotel).

Daksh Mittal (Emraan Hashmi) is a charming and continually  drunk millionaire. One day, he sees a girl, Jiah (Dia  Mirza), on the street and falls madly in love with her.He even  kisses Jiah in the street. Jia is working as a striptease dancer and has  a mentally handicapped brother (Atul Parchure).  Daksh and Jiah spend some time with each other and fall in love. Daksh,  however, is supposed to marry the rich Anhaita Madhwani (Pooja Bharti)  in order to inherit a million-dollar trust.

For help, Daksh turns to his butler, John Uncle (Anupam  Kher). John Uncle likes Daksh to end up with Jiah very much,  however, John is very ill and finally gets transmitted to hospital. The  engagement party for Daksh and Anhaita is taking place and John Uncle  manages to convince Jia to go to the party.

Daksh and Jiah dance, and meanwhile, John Uncle is dying at the  hospital. Daksh decides to honour John Uncle's memory and goes to  propose to Jiah - she accepts and after a final clash with the family,  Daksh is allowed to marry her and they live happily ever after.

Raj (Fardeen Khan), Veer (Zayed Khan) and Aryan (Sharman Joshi) are unhappy with the respective marriages even though they love their spouses. Their wives Bhavana (Ayesha Takia), Diya (Esha Deol) and Sonia (Soha Ali Khan) are busy with their everyday lives and their husbands feel ignored by them. Bhavana constantly uses religion as an excuse to not be intimate with her husband, Diya aspires to be an actress, and Sonia is a lawyer who is always work obsessed on her cases.
Soon the three men come across three beauties Madhuri (Riya Sen), Rekha (Aarti Chhabria) and Dimple (Sophie Choudry). It is not long before they are tempted by them. However unfortunately for them Lucky Bhai (Sanjay Dutt) is out to make hell for them and expose them to their unassuming wives.

Shekhar (Sanjay Kapoor) and Nandini (Karisma Kapoor) are friends living in Canada with their two uncles. Shekhar proposes to Nandini and she says yes and now they have a young son named Raja. Shekhar hears breaking news of violence in India, the family journeys to his ancestral house in rural Bihar and Nandini is shocked to see that Shekhar’s family is embroiled in feudal gang wars. Shekhar’s father Narasimha (Nana Patekar) has many enemies. Shekhar tries to bring peace between the warring gangs, but is attacked by the rival gang & killed on way to a reconciliatory meeting that he wanted to attend on his father’s behalf. Nandini feels insecure and decides to leave India with her son but Narasimha imprisons them. But as she is desperate to escape, she goes on a difficult journey to return to her home in Canada with the help of Shekhar’s mother and sister but when she leaves the house Narasimha sets his men on them. Meanwhile Nandini and Raja meet drifter Jaisingh (Shahrukh Khan) who helps them board a train to Jaipur but dies while battling Narsimha’s men. Back at Narasimha’s house, his wife revolts against him, telling him to put a stop to the bloodshed and let Nandini leave. Later when Nandini and Raja are about to check-in at the airport,Narasimha comes and bids them goodbye and lets them fly back to Canada.

Nachiappan(Nassar) is a restaurateur in Los Angeles, USA (Originally the Gandhi Cusine shooted in the film is in Las Vegas). His twin sons Vishwanathan and Ramamoorthy (both played by Prashanth), are both medical students, who help him out in the evenings and on weekends alongside with the restaurant’s chief cook, Juno (Senthil). One evening, Vishwanathan goes to the airport to check on the family’s supply concession and sees that some fellow Indians – Madhumitha (Aishwarya Rai), her brother Madhesh (Raju Sundaram) and their grandmother Krishnaveny (Lakshmi) – have difficulty with an address. He pitches in to help and learns that they just flew in from India so that Krishnaveny can undergo a crucial surgery to remove her brain tumour.

Tony (Govinda) is an easy-going and popular tour guide. One day a fortune teller tells him that a blue-eyed princess from overseas will enter his life and change it forever. She is the dream girl that he has been searching for.
On the way from Austria to an intended holiday in Singapore, Sonia (Aishwarya Rai) and her nanny stop off in Mumbai. When their connecting flight is delayed Sonia decides instead to travel to Malaga (which is implied to be near Goa), the birthplace of her mother, who died when Sonia was very young. Sonia has been brought up by her father (the Austrian Ambassador) since her mother mysteriously abandoned the family to return to Malaga. Although Sonia knows her father will be very angry with her – he hates India and Indians due to his wife leaving him – Sonia wants to see her mother’s grave for the first time. She convinces her father to let her stay in Malaga for a few days in order to fulfil her wish.
Upon arrival in Malaga, Sonia meets Tony and hires him to show her the area and to help her find her mother’s grave. As Sonia and Tony see the sights of Goa and find her mother’s grave, Tony begins to fall in love with Sonia and it appears Sonia is very fond of him. Unbeknownst to Tony, his childhood friend Neena (Namrata Shirodkar) is in love with him and she does not take kindly to him spending all his time with Sonia.

Beta is the story of Raju (Anil Kapoor), the only child of a widowed multi millionaire. Raju’s father can provide him anything he wants but Raju’s only desire is to get mother’s love. In order to please Raju, his father gets married to Laxmi (Aruna Irani), thinking that she will take care of Raju more than his real mother would. Raju becomes completely devoted to his stepmother, doing whatever she wishes. Time passes by, Raju grows up and gets married to Saraswati (Madhuri Dixit). Saraswati discovers that Laxmi’s motherly love for Raju is fake and all what Laxmi is interested in, is capturing Raju’s wealth. And thus begins a battle within the household between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law which involves Saraswati trying to outdo Laxmi. This involves Saraswati voicing her concerns to Raju about his mother, resulting in Saraswati being slapped repeatedly by her husband. This humiliation does not worry Saraswati who eventually wins the battle once Laxmi realizes the importance of loving her stepson back as much as he loves her.

The movie opens as both Rahul (Arjun Rampal) and his friend, Karan (Zayed Khan) discover the deceased body of Rahull’s wife, Puja (Amisha Patel), hanging in the living room of her home. Throughout the movie, many twists and mysteries pop up, surrounding the mystery of Pooj’a sudden death. There are frequent flashbacks of Pooja’s past with both Rahul and Karan.
As the investigations go on, the audience finds out that Karan was Pooja’ ex-boyfriend. Karan was dashing and good-looking, but had one flaw- He was obsessive of Pooja. Karan’s flaw caused Pooja to hate him and silently, break-up with him by marrying a handome, wealthy man, Rahul, who fell in love with her ever since he saw her dance to the song, ‘Zindagi ko Savar De Maula’. Pooja loves her husband very much and flashbacks are shown with a happy marriage which gets shattered with the accident of Rahul and Pooja, causing Rahul to become blind.

After being abandoned for eight straight years in boarding school,Rohan returns to the industrial city of Jamshedpur and finds himself closeted with an authoritarian father and a younger half brother who he didn’t even know existed.
Forced to work in his father’s steel factory and study engineering against his wishes, he tries to forge his own life out of his given circumstances and pursue his dream of being a writer.

The film begins in 1857, when India was ruled by the British East India Company. Mangal Pandey (Aamir Khan) is a sepoy, a soldier of Indian origin, in the army of the East India Company. Pandey is fighting in the Anglo-Afghan Wars and saves the life of his British commanding officer, William Gordon (portrayed by Toby Stephens). Gordon is indebted to Pandey and a strong friendship develops between them, transcending both rank and race.
Gordon rescues a young widow, Jwala (Ameesha Patel), from committing Sati (the act of following her deceased husband on to the funeral pyre). Afterwards, he falls in love with her. Meanwhile, Heera (Rani Mukerji) has been sold into prostitution, to work for Lol Bibi (Kirron Kher). There is a spark of attraction between her and Pandey and a liaison follows.
Gordon and Pandey’s friendship is challenged following the introduction of a new rifle, the Enfield rifled musket. In reality as in the film, rumors began to spread among the sepoys that the paper cartridges that held the powder and ball for the rifle were greased with either pig fat or beef tallow. Since the process of loading the cartridge required the soldier to bite the cartridge open to pour in the loose powder, the soldiers believed that the process would require them to consume pork or beef – an act abhorrent concept to Muslim and Hindu soldiers, respectively, for religious reasons.^[2]
